Making It Better (MIB) is a non-profit organization that improves literacy, leadership & life skills for under-served elementary students. MIB was founded in 2006 by Jerry Davis, a former Westside High School Dean of students, to address the severe disadvantages faced by low-income children in Houston. MIB offers programs that provide a foundation for academic success by promoting literacy and reading as a “way of life”.
