M-WERC Annual Technology Symposium
The Midwest Energy Research Consortium (M-WERC) is holding its 7th Annual Technology Symposium on Tuesday, April 11th from 8:00am-11:30am CT. This event will hosted by Briggs & Stratton in Wauwatosa, WI.
At this event, M-WERC will re-launch its "Technology Innovation" program for cutting-edge research in the Energy, Power, and Controls sector technologies. New features of the Technology Innovation program will include:
- Research projects mixed between targeted pre-competitive and company-defined sponsored research based on a cost sharing model.
- Research projects defined along a continuum of research and developments paths in cross cutting technologies critical to driving the EPC industries across all of our research members.
- Industry roadmaps that will create focus areas that research members can choose from to guide pipeline project sequence.
- Consulting projects defined by members and key ecosystem stake holders will be included in the M-WERC planning cycle.
- A master map of external experts, consultants, University Researchers, and University Capabilities will be maintained as a service for Research Members.
- Introduction of new “Technology Pipeline Working Groups” for each Technology Pipeline.
- Technology Pipeline events including workshops, roadmapping updates, special deep dive symposiums, and webinars on special interest topics.
