They represent lay people and clergy from churches large and small in all parts of the Presbytery of East Tennessee. Farragut Presbyterian Church
Mission Madness is a gathering for mission-minded folks in the Presbytery of East Tennessee, sponsored by the Serve Mission Team. Come to share your passion for mission, learn about the Presbytery's mission entities and what others are doing in your areas of interest.
Schedule for the day:
1:00-1:30pm Opening Worship
1:40-2:30 Concurrent breakout sessions/discussions - topics will include: international mission, hunger ministries, disaster response, peacemaking, Presbyterian Women, youth mission trips, John Knox Center camp and conference ministries, Presbyterian campus ministries at UT Chattanooga and UT Knoxville, Living Waters for the World.
2:40-3:30 Refreshments and networking in the fellowship hall with displays representing various mission entities.
3:40-4:30 Concurrent breakout sessions/discussions - topics repeated.
4:35-5:00 Closing Worship
A directory of resources and contact people will be compiled after the event and made available to attendees. This event is FREE, but registration is requested by March 25 so we have an accurate idea of the number of attendees and their areas of interest. Please join us!
