Digital Overload: Ipads, Cell Phones, and Computers Oh My! It is a digital age and we live in a world of distractions and have become a plugged in society. The 2015 annual report on stress by The American Psychological Association is titled Stress in America: Paying with Our Health. The report reveals that almost one half of Americans view stress as a major negative factor in their lives. This report also cited the continued impact of chronic stress on wellness and the increased cost of healthcare due to stress related illnesses. New to the list of stressors are the impact of media stress and the invasion of technology into our daily routines as reported by Harvard School of Public Health 2014. Laurie will share a holistic approach to creating healthy boundaries with our gadgets and ways to prevent digital toxicity and burnout. We are the smart ones, not our phones.
