The Assiniboine River Basin Initiative is hosting its third annual conference. Our 2016 theme is Fitting the Pieces Together: Cooperative water management accross the basin.
This year the conference will be hosted in Minot, North Dakota on November 9 & 10, 2016 at the Riverside Holiday Inn. The address and directions can be found on the left hand side of this page.

Bob Sandford - EPCOR Chair for Water and Climate Security at the United Nations University Institute for Water, Environment and Health
Dr. Sandford has authored a number of acclaimed works regarding water. He has a passion for making complex scientific research accessible to policy and decision-makers, and he brings international examples on water issues to light even on local scales.
Dr. Sandford is also a Senior Advisor for the Interaction Council, a global public policy forum made up of more than 30 former heads of states, including former Canadian Prime Ministers and U.S. Presidents. He also sits on several other advisory boards and policy groups.
