_“WE CAN’T STOP THE WAVES, BUT WE CAN LEARN TO SURF“_
The central message of the four noble truths is that every human life has an ever changing balance of pleasure and pain within it. Buddhist practice is a call to develop equal presence for the preferable and not so preferable conditions of our lives. In this daylong we will look at the four noble truths not just as a central Buddhist “philosophy”, but as a practice of presence, mindfulness and responsiveness.
This day will include lecture and alternating periods of sitting and walking practice, and is suitable for all levels of practitioner.
Please bring a sacked lunch.
