5Essentials Overview: What it is and How Community Schools Can Use the Data to Inform their Work
5Essentials Overview
5Essentials is an evidence-based system designed to drive improvement in schools nationwide. The 5Essestials system reliably measures changes in a school organization through its survey, predicts school success through scoring, and provides individualized actionable reports to schools, districts, parents, and community partners, and training to school leadership teams.
5Essentials Webinar Description
Practitioners will begin this webinar by being introduced to the history and research behind 5Essentials framework and its various components and layers. Practitioners will then have an opportunity to explore features of the 5Essentials reporting site. They will be able to view sample reports and examine key questions, through a brief simulation designed to help participants understand how 5Essentials data can be utilized productively when considering how to improve a school. Finally, practitioners will review examples of how different schools have used their 5E to drive school improvement through a number of case studies.
