The Mississippi Perinatal Quality Collaborative (MSPQC) is a partnership between clinicians, hospitals, public health professionals, insurers and families dedicated to reducing maternal and infant morbidity and mortality in Mississippi.
MSPQC is bringing together key health professionals to hear from national experts in maternal and neonatal care quality and safety and to establish statewide perinatal quality improvement initiatives.
Representation from all birthing hospitals and maternal/infant health organizations is requested.
Audience:
We are requesting leadership teams of 4-10 from each birthing facility including: obstetric, MFM, neonatal and pediatric physicians ( medical director/clinicians); CNM/ NP and RNs ( nurse managers, clinical- antepartum, L&D, postpartum, NICU, newborn care); lactation consultants, quality improvement staff, social worker and hospital administrators.
Public health organizations, family advocate groups and partner organizations are encouraged to bring 2-3 leadership representatives.
