Child Care Network
In this PLC series, program administrators will explore strategies to support and encourage their staff. Through facilitator presentations, role play, and small and large group discussion, participants will understand the importance of effective leadership skills to effectively support early childhood educators and develop skills to effectively engage and empower their staff through strengths-based practice and reflection.
PLC Objectives:
1. Understand the importance of effective leadership skills to effectively support early childhood educators;
2. Develop the skills needed to effectively engage and empower staff members to reach their full potential as early childhood educators;
3. Work collaboratively with other administrators to identify strategies for staff mentoring, community building and the program management;
4. Create a vision statement for their early childhood program staff and identify action steps for making their vision a reality.;
5. Understand Professionalism and Leadership in the context of the QRIS standards.
