The presenter will cover the basics of water chemistry and how it relates to membrane operations. This presentation will also cover some basic membrane math as it relates to water chemistry. The basics of scaling and fouling will be covered.

This presentation will explain membrane design basics and operational considerations. The presenter will discuss such topics such as staging/tapering, feed/interstage pressures, differential pressures, flow rates, and system monitoring.
