 "Introduction to Mental Health    
   First Aid"                                          Presented by Nicole Morris, QMHP, MA, LPC

  Nicole Morris has her Master’s and Licensure in Professional Counseling.  Nicole is  
  passionate about advocacy for mental illness, disabilities, and the people living with
  mental health struggles.   She has worked on the Children Affected by
  Methamphetamine grant program with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health
  Services Administration, several different Assertive Community Treatment teams working with acute mental illness, and as crisis interventionist.  Nicole worked in community mental health as a case manager from 2010-2016.  Currently, she works for Kaiser in their research department as a Mental Health Interventionist on two suicide prevention studies.  Nicole is a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor and helps others learn to recognize developing mental health problems, identify crises, and how to help until the need is addressed.
