Are you struggling to get started on the Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS)? Have you started to complete the requirements but have gotten “stuck” on some of the items? This series will help family child care educators understand the QRIS and complete the requirements to reach Levels 2 or 3 of the QRIS.

The Continuous Quality Improvement Plan (CQIP) and the Individual Professional Development Plan (IPDP) are extremely useful tools for improving your program and laying out a pathway toward higher education and professional development. Guidance will be offered on how to complete these tools as well as effective implementation of them for overall program improvement.
