Valarie Hamm is Vice President - Brand Experience Design Director for Umpqua, a community bank known for its unique bank stores, strong culture, and extreme service. In her current role, Valarie directs the integration of Umpqua's unique value proposition into all channels and drives design and campaign development for the digital and store environments.

Hamm recently spearheaded the experience design for Umpqua's new San Francisco flagship store, including the development of new interactive technologies and servicing models that are changing the way the bank operates and attracts new customers. The new store received international recognition as the Retail Design Institute's 2013 Store of the Year and first place in the financial services category. Umpqua's San Francisco store represents the first time a financial institution has received this recognition in the award's 43-year history.

Brent Gable is the Director of Business Development for OpenEye and holds a BS in Finance from the University of Idaho. Gable has over 14 years of physical and digital video security industry experience.

OpenEye is an innovative company that designs and manufactures digital video recorders and surveillance equipment for the security industry.  As one of the first employees of OpenEye, Gable has been actively involved in digital video and related technology since its infancy within the security industry.

Gable has focused on selling into the retail vertical market and national accounts for the past five years and has been instrumental in the continuing design and marketing of OpenEye's loss prevention software, SaleGuard.

John Hansman is the Central Station Manager at Alarm Center, Inc. in Lacey, Washington. Hansman has over 14 years’ security industry experience, 10 of those years have been served in management at Alarm Center, Inc.

The areas of Hansman’s expertise include customer service, electronic technologies (such as alarm communications), online services, and social media. Hansman will be spotlighting an overview of the features of the Monitoring Center Online Web Portal offered by Allied Security thru ACI (Alarm Center, Inc.)

Come; learn about the features of the Monitoring Center Online Portal, an available service that allows individuals to:

1. Independently manage additions and deletions of their users and call list to the monitoring center.
2. Review their monitored account activity including alarms and open and close reporting (if an elected feature).
3. Run reports.
4. Place their systems in to test mode via this portal as opposed to calling in to the monitoring center or Customer Care.
