Bulverde/Spring Branch LibrarySpend a day touring The Bullock Texas State Museum in Austin on Tuesday, April 21st. Cost is $45 per person and includes bus fee, museum admission and movie. Lunch will be self pay; there is a café in the museum with reasonable prices for your convenience or bring a lunch. Trip will be cancelled if we don't have at least 40 participants.
Not only will you be able to tour the museum, we will be enjoying one of the most important shipwrecked discoveries in North America. La Belle lives on after 300 years at sea to tell a captiviting story filled with privacy, murder, and miscalculation that doomed the 17th century voyage and changed the course of history forever.
We will also watch Shipwrecked and experience the story of La Belle as seen through the eyes of Pierre Talon, a young French boy setting sail for North America in 17=684 as part of La Salle's colonization effort. Like most adventures, this one doesn't go as planned, with piracy, murder, and an unexpected experience with the Caddo along the way. This original Bullock Museum film features 4D sensory effects.
