Day 2 Firearms Training

On the Second Day of Class, students will begin with the basic principles of marksmanship then progress quickly into drawing and re-holstering their pistol, making quick, accurate hits on their target and making critical decisions while carrying a deadly weapon in public.
Students will come away with the understanding of why they completed the required drills and the confidence to repeat their new skills should they ever need them in a gunfight.

Students will also be using some of the medical techniques learned on day 1 and put them into practice with live fire scenarios. We will also cover defending your family and those under the mantle of your protection including hostage rescue drills.

Be prepared to be mentally and physically challenged and to come away more ready to deal with real world emergencies.

Experience: Beginners are welcome but must bring a semi-automatic handgun. Revolver Shooters must be experienced with their handgun.

Equipment list:

A range bag.

Eye protection.

Ear protection. We recommend electronic ear muffs. Howard Leight Sport Impact Pro muffs are excellent as well as affordable.

A quality, fully functional handgun.

300 rounds of factory ammunition (If you bring reloads, make sure they function flawlessly in your gun. Nothing slows down a class more than faulty hand-loads. )

A MINIMUM of 3 magazines (We recommend 6 or more)
Revolver shooters: A MINIMUM of 6 speed loaders and a loading tray. (More speed loaders is better)

A good quality holster that is designed specifically for your gun that covers the trigger guard.

A double magazine pouch or 2 single magazine pouches.

A good quality gun belt. It cannot be emphasized enough that a real gun belt is an essential piece of of the gun carrier's wardrobe. The belt you bought at Walmart won't cut it. Purchase a real gun belt from a reputable manufacturer if you do not have one. We recommend Concealment Solutions for leather and Wilderness Tactical or 5.11 for ballistic nylon belts.  Good quality gun belts can be had for less than $50 and will make your $500+ gun much more carry-able and concealable in your holster.

A hat with a brim.

A good attitude.
