Breaking Opiate Addiction

Substance use disorders are pervasive throughout our medical, educational and criminal justice systems. Often these disorders are difficult to address and treatment options are limited.  Dr. R. Corey Waller offers evidenced-based treatment approaches using medication assisted treatment, as well as counseling,  to drastically improve outcomes. Join us to learn how these approaches can be utilized and expanded in our community.

Dr. Waller will share information from his research on medication-assisted addictions treatment and best practices for implementation.

Dr. Waller is an addiction, pain, and emergency medicine specialist in Grand Rapids, MI. He is the Medical Director of Spectrum Health Medical Group Center for Integrative Medicine. Dr. Waller earned a Master’s of Science in neuromolecular biology at Southwest Texas State University and earned his Medical Degree at the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio.
