LAFAYETTE, LA - SEPTEMBER 24-25, 2016 

ABOUT Sept. 24-25, 2016: Texas and Cajun prairie experts, native plant advocates, Texas and Louisiana Master Naturalists, private landowners, and others will meet in Lafayette, LA to share and network. Field trips, presentations on prairie biodiversity and education, and authentic Cajun food highlight this first of its kind event.

PROGRAM 

  • Program will begin on September 24, 2016 at 11 am, in Lafayetter
  • Field trips: We will visit restored and remnant Cajun Prairie sites near Lafayette and Eunice
  • Social and Awards Ceremony on a restored Cajun Prairie with authentic Cajun food and music!

JOIN US ON THE BUS, TEXANS!
We are renting a bus for those traveling to Lafayette from Texas. This bus will leave Houston on the morning of Saturday, September 24th. We highly encourage Texans to join us for a this ride for networking and to save you the effort of driving by yourself. We'll have a couple of activities on the bus as well!
