Bishop Thomas H. McGhee

Bishop Tommy McGhee serves as the Executive Director of Discipleship Ministries and also as the Corporate Treasurer for the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. His vision for Discipleship Ministries is to identify the best discipleship resources available and help get them in the hands of local church leaders where discipleship happens.
Bishop McGhee served as Superintendent of the Cornerstone Conference (Western North Carolina) from June 1994 until July 2012. Prior to being Superintendent, he served as the Evangelism & World Missions Director of the Western North Carolina Conference for six years and as a pastor in the conference for twelve years. He joined the Western North Carolina Conference while attending Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia. He graduated from Emmanuel College with a B.S. in Religious Studies; and later from Southwestern Christian University Graduate School (Bethany, Oklahoma) with a Master of Ministry Degree in Church Growth & Church Planting.
Bishop McGhee is married to Elizabeth Frye McGhee and they live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They have two grown children – Jennifer (Atlanta, GA) and Jason (Patrick County, VA). Jason and his wife, Mandy, have one daughter, Audrey, who is the delight of her grandparents!
Rev. Garry Bryant
Asst. Director Evangelism USA
Garry Bryant is an ordained minister with the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. He is a native Virginian and the son of a Pentecostal Holiness Minister. Garry was licensed at age 17 and has been in ministry for over thirty years. He has served as a Senior Pastor, as Conference Christian Education Director, and as Bishop of Redemption Ministries. Rev. Bryant achieved a Th.B. from Advantage College and a Master of Ministry degree from Southwestern College of Christian Ministries. His ministry goal is to raise up the body of Christ in effective ministry to carry out The Great Commission.
Garry and his wife, LaDawn have two children, Dreama and Garry. They reside in Oklahoma City, OK, where Garry presently serves as the National Field Director for ACTS2DAY Ministries and the Assistant Director for Evangelism USA.
Rev. Larry Meadors
Evangelism and World Missions Director
Larry Meadors serves as the Appalachian Conference World Missions and Evangelism Director. He has been placed in various ministry assignments over the past thirty-plus years. In each of these callings, missions has had a central part in the ministry. He has a passion to see God's people involved in The Great Commission.
"Making a Global Impact From Your Church" will be a class for pastors, church mission directors and all who have a heart for The Great Commission. A resource manual will be given to each church as part of this training. In addition, hear fresh ideas from Mission Directors on how to develop a mission heart in the church.
Rev. Clayton Kipps
Minister of Music
Clayton is a licensed minister with the IPHC and has led worship for conference events, such as the Ministers’ Summit, Senior Adult & Fall Ministry Training events and has served on various conference praise teams, including conference Camp Meeting. He has also served as a talent judge for the “Talent Quest” on the local church and conference levels. Clayton is essential in the establishment and pioneering of the Music & Creative Ministries on the conference level, having served as the chairman from 2008 – 2009 and is currently serving as a committee member. He has also previously served on the Board for AIM Around the World, which is a mime drama ministry that ministers in the local area and around the world on various mission trips. He has been involved in ministry for more than 25 years, traveling with various gospel groups and serving at Harbor of Hope for the past thirteen years. He has been involved in private music studies such as piano, vocal and basic music theory. His involvement in music and leadership at various sizes of congregations, styles of worship and events has allowed a broad perspective of music, worship and the arts in the local church setting.
Rev. Don Webb
Don Webb a native of Pulaski, Virginia, is currently Pastor of Discipleship Ministries at Tree of Life Ministries in Lynchburg, Virginia. Prior to that, he was TOLM’s Children’s Pastor for eight years. Don and his team headed the Children’s Ministry at the 2009 IPHC General Conference in Greensboro, NC. He was the IPHC Appalachian Conference recipient of the 2009 “Children’s Pastor of the Year.” He is knowledgeable in many areas of the church, having served as Youth Leader, Minister of Music, Pianist, Sunday School Superintendent, Camp Meeting Choir Director, member of Pastor’s Council, and others. Don grew up as the son of a pastor. He was named “Layman of the Year” for the Church of God in West Virginia when he lived and served there. He is very community minded, as well, and has served as past board member of both the Chamber of Commerce and the Retail Merchants Association of Altavista, VA, where he and his wife were successful business owners for over twenty years. Don is a veteran of the United States Navy, and completed two tours of duty with the Seabees in Vietnam. He and Dale, his wife, have two beautiful daughters, Heather and Hollye, who are both serving the Lord along with their husbands and six grandchildren.
Rev. Adam Williams
Rev. Adam Williams grew up in Maiden, NC, where his home church is Living Word Pentecostal Holiness. He graduated from Emmanuel College with a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministries and is currently seeking his Masters of Divinity from Liberty University. Adam married his wife Lacy in November of 2009. They have one son, Abel, and they are expecting their second baby boy in April. Adam has been in youth ministry for over six years and is currently the DMD/Youth Pastor at Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Mrs. Rhonda W. Smith
Appalachian Conference Business Administrator, Accounting Director & Bishop's Secretary
Mrs. Smith has used her background in banking and accounting to train secreataries and treasurers for over fifteen years on church reporting. She truly has a heart to help our churches succeed in church reporting while using her skills to help others be more knowledgable of accounting practices and good bookkeeping procedures. She has served over 25 years on various conference and church boards and currently serves as Registra and Treasurer for Maranatha College of Christian Ministries.
