Be A Better Communicator 

Would you like to get better at presenting information at work? Do you need to grab your boss’s attention for a proposal, or get buy in from your team for a new initiative? 

If you want to motivate, inspire, or even just inform people at meetings, in presentations, and through writing, this workshop can help. In this daylong session, we’ll explore – and practice - tools that help us engage our audience through our speaking, our PowerPoint, or in writing.

You will learn how to:

• Identify your key message and anticipate audience reaction  
• Decide exactly what outcome you want so that you can boost your chances of achieving it
• Understand – and meet – your audience’s needs
• Tell a coherent, logical story that keeps listeners or readers engaged
• Sound authentic and natural, even when dealing with large groups
• Adapt these tools to verbal presentations, PowerPoint, or writing

If you have a current communication project you are working on, feel free to bring it to the workshop. If not, we’ll have exercises for participants to use.
