Oxford Hills SCORE and the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring a hands-on eight-part marketing series because we believe that every business, large or small, needs to continually market its products and services to flourish.  Are you willing to invest an hour a month to become better at marketing?

Marketing is a broad subject, encompassing elements such as goal setting, planning, budgeting, advertising, web sites, brochures, business cards, branding, logos, pricing, packaging, networking, social media and more. A “marketing program” is a set of coordinated activities to help you achieve your marketing objectives.  There are a variety of tools available to help, but key to successful marketing is to get organized and focused.

This Marketing Roundtable Series will touch on various aspects of marketing and provide ample opportunity to learn from small business peers through group discussion and hands-on activities. This FREE marketing series will meet from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM on the last Thursday of each month. Join us for all the sessions or just the ones you want to know more about.

• Service business marketing (October)
• Other marketing topics

Participants can attend the entire series or selected sessions, as desired. Each participant will receive a binder containing all slides and reference materials to use as a guide for your individual marketing plan. Look for monthly announcements to sign up!

Meet Our Presenters

 

 

Steve Veazey, our discussion leader, is a member of Oxford Hills SCORE. Steve is one of theSCORE presenters for local Marketing workshops and has been a facilitator of Business Roundtable  events.  Steve’s expertise in business planning and management fits well with the elements of marketing important to small businesses.  While working full time in a professional services business for 20 years, Steve was responsible for finance and operations, including marketing.

 

 

Charlie Peabody is co-hosting with Steve and brings a wealth of marketing expertise. Charlie spent  his entire career in sales and marketing for medium to large businesses but the elements of successful marketing apply equally to smaller businesses. Charlie is a member of Oxford Hills SCORE and a regular presenter of SCORE marketing workshops.
