Please join the Governor's Grants Office, The Governor's Office of Community Initiatives and Maryland Nonprofits for a half-day of grant training at no-cost to you or your faith-based organization.
 


We will conduct this workshop on Tuesday, May 10 at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills (Queen Anne's County).  Please plan to arrive by 8:30 a.m. to check-in and enoy a refreshment.  Class will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.

Speakers include Merril Oliver, director of the Governor's Grants Office, who will share resources with you on where to find available grants and advise what your organization needs to be grant-ready.  Jennifer Jones, seasoned grants consultant, will offer you tips on how to organize and write successful grant applications.

Maryland Nonprofit's staff will share information with you about their nationally recognized "Standards for Excellence" program, which provides a best practices framework for organizations at all stages of development to build capacity to fundraise and manage grants.

There is no charge for this event but space is limited to registered faith-based nonprofits with 501(c)3 status.  Online registration is required.  We will close registration when it is filled, so don't delay - register today!
