Learn strategies for getting your issues covered by state house media and passed in this session of the state legislature from an expert panel of lobbyists, public relations specialists and journalists. Panelists from the Washington Post, WBAL-TV, Maryland Reporter and major lobbying and PR firms will present.

The panel includes:

  • Ann Ciekot, a lobbyist and partner with Public Policy Partners with 23 years of experience in government relations and public policy, including advocacy training.
  • David Collins, a member of the I-Team investigative reporters with WBAL TV 11 News, where he also covers politics and general assignments.
  • Eric Gally, who uses his skills in journalism, public relations and government relations as a lobbyist with Gally Public Affairs.
  • Jenna Johnson who reports on Maryland politics for the Washington Post.
  • Len Lazarick, editor and publisher of MarylandReporter.com, who has covered State House politics for close to 30 years and is a regular commentator on Baltimore talk radio.
  • Susan O’Brien of O’Brien & Associates Public Relations, who has 25 years of experience in government affairs, media relations and advocacy.
