Please join us for the kickoff meeting for the Oak Creek Watershed Restoration Plan. The kickoff meeting will be held on April 12 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at South Milwaukee City Hall, 2424 15th Avenue. It's time to get the planning started!
AGENDA
You are receiving this email because you either expressed interest in or were invited to be a part of the Stakeholder Group. Your participation and input are welcomed to ensure this plan considers the range of perspectives regarding the watershed. The Stakeholder Group will assist the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional PlanningCommission (SEWRPC) staff in development of the Oak Creek Watershed RestorationPlan.
It is anticipated that the Stakeholder Group will meet six times during the approximately 2.5 year plan preparation period. These meetings are open to the general public and will be held in the early evening. Notices of the Stakeholder Group meetings will be sent out by the Root-Pike Watershed Initiative Network, which is an outreach partner for the study.
If you wish to identify individuals to include in the Stakeholder Group meetings, please provide Mike Hahn, SEWRPC Deputy Director (contact information provided below), with their contact information, and they will be added to the meeting notification list.
The watershed restoration plan web page on the Commission web site can be accessed here. That web page will be updated over the course of the study period as work products are developed and posted.
Thanks in advance for participating in the Stakeholder Group. We look forward to working with all of you on this plan to restore the Oak Creek watershed!
