RIASCD Educators Conference

November 19, 2016

This annual event provides opportunities for ALL professionals to participate in workshops on timely topics and to network with other educators including pre-service and beginning teachers.

All educators, including Pre-Service (Practicum and Student Teaching) and Beginning Teachers from around the state are invited to attend this conference. Participation may be used as evidence of meeting RI Professional Teaching Standards #10 and #11.

Participants will receive a professional development credit report that will serve as portfolio evidence for exit licensure portfolio; a free student membership in the Rhode Island ASCD, "the organization for excellence in teaching and learning"; and opportunities to take away great resources supplied by local practitioners and the ASCD.

Participants will also receive a wealth of resources, have an opportunity to "EdCamp" best practices, and hear from our keynote speaker, Rhode Island Teacher of the Year.  

This conference has been growing over time and highlights the best in Rhode Island education.

Registration is only $30 and includes a light breakfast.  

Certificates of completion will be provided upon receipt of program evaluation.
