Friday Night Family Potluck: 9/26  6:30-8:30

 There is a potluck meal for the whole family on Friday night. Come and meet and informally get acquainted with Fang. Lea Xu, who lived for 6 years in China will also be visiting  and sharing. It is held at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, 578 Carrall Street, Vancouver, BC.  

During this evening, there will be a brief time for Fang to have a fun session with kids ages  2-7.  Don't miss the chance to hang out in lovely surroundings with Fang, who is traveling all the way from Boston, MA!

1-2:30 pm  Fang meets with tween adoptees (8-12);  older kids can continue discussion started with Fang on their own, or join the China "Off Path" seminar.

Friday Night Potluck & Sat. Family Day 

 Come join the "Journeys" Workshop day in Vancouver, BC with Fang and Lotus Travel. This day has something for everyone!

On Saturday adults get immersed in the emotional preparation aspect of taking this important family journey. Come with your list  of questions;  walk away prepared to tailor your trip.  During the provided lunch, adults will meet and have a Q & A Forum  session with Fang Lee of  Somewhere Between.  Afterwards, there's a session for the seasoned traveler and the family that wants to plan "Off Path" China Travel. Adults' schedule is: 

Sat. Sep. 27th 

Check in: 9:40-10 am

Practical & Emotional Prep for the Journey - 10 a.m. 

 Lunch &   Forum with Fang  - 11:30 - 12:45 

China Travel  "Off Path" - 1:00 - 2:30 pm

Tweens & Young Adults (13 +) :   Enjoy your own session with Fang and have a chance to get acquainted.  You can ask questions you might want to know from an older adoptee and just hang out with friends!

Child friendly activities are available all day (age 2 & over).  Sorry, no childcare provided for kids under 2.

You can come to the entire day's events or selected workshops of your choosing.  It's up to you -- all for one fee of $27 per adult (includes lunch) and $22 per child/teen/adult adoptee.

Price change after Sept 12th!

If not  an FCC  member, add $40 surcharge per family.

If you wish to renew FCC BC membership, you can input  and pay your family membership fee when you register and pay for these events online.  Membership fee is $20.
