Creating Walkable Places:                                         An H-GAC Sustainable Transportation Workshop 

Join us at H-GAC on Friday, September 30, 2016, to learn about different elements of pedestrian-friendly streetscapes.

As part of this interactive workshop:

• Speakers will provide information about how communities can create more walkable places by investing in sidewalks and other pedestrian facilities.
• Participants will then use H-GAC's new Pedestrian Evaluation Tool during a walking tour of the Greenway Plaza area to evaluate the safety and comfort of pedestrian pathways.

Space for the walking tour portion of the workshop is limited, so register early. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing if you will be participating in the tour.

You do not need to participate in the walking tour to attend the workshop.
