LPC is an educational initiative for states' legislative leadership and state government relations professionals from America's leading businesses, associations and service providers.

Designed to encourage dialogue on issues of importance between state legislative leaders and private sector representatives, private-sector attendance is for SGAC members only. Public-sector invites include the legislative leadership of all 50 states, territories, the NCSL and CSG Executive Committees, the ALEC Board of Directors, and the chairs of key committees in the state legislatures.

Registration Fee: The registration fee for this event is $725 per member.  Guest & spouse registrations are available for $295 each.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests should be made to Kate Necaise via email at knecaise@sgac.org. Telephone cancellations will not be accepted. Cancellations received before November 8th will not be charged a cancellation fee.  Cancellations received after November 8th will be charged the full registration fee.  No-shows will also be charged the full registration fee.

Turnberry Isle Kids Connection- The children’s program at Turnberry Isle is a unique innovative program that connects children with the world around them.  Kids Connection includes a variety of activities including teambuilding, arts & crafts, sports skills, character club, pool games, beach activities and more!  All of their activities and games focus on enhancing the whole child in a fun playful environment.  Parents will have peace of mind knowing their kids are being supervised by extremely qualified and background checked staff members.  The company has more than 20 years’ experience in children’s programming.  Safety, security…and fun…are their team’s top priorities.

Golf Tournament at Turnberry Isle Golf Course

As SGAC partners with Tee-It-Up for the Troops for the second year, the Turnberry Isle Golf Course willhost this year’s SGAC golf tournament. Originally designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. ,Turnberry Isle Miami’s 18-hole championship courses – The Soffer and Miller Courses - have been re-interpreted by golf icon Raymond Floyd. With contoured fairways, clever doglegs, rolling greens, perfectly carved bunkers, strategically placed water features and a variety of elevation changes to challenge and enthrall casual golfers and enthusiasts alike, Turnberry Isle Miami is a showcase of the best in Florida golf.

Deep Sea Fishing

Head out on the open seas for an afternoon of sport fishing on board a 45’ Hatteras Sport Fishing Vessel.  The boat will pick you up and return you to the Turnberry Isle docks. Don’t forget to pack your sunscreen for the four hour tour!

Mini Golf

Fore? If playing on the big course isn’t your speed, register to play mini golf at Boomers! Just a few miles from the Turnberry Isle, challenge other participants to a round. Roundtrip transportation will be provided.  SGAC reserves the right to cancel this event if enough registrations are not received.

Tennis Lessons

Tennis traditions run strong at Turnberry Isle Miami. Resort guests and members have the opportunity to receive first-class tennis instruction from coaches formally ranked in the Top 10 in doubles and singles (through the exclusive alliance with Cañas Tennis.)
