Cedar Grove Chamber Halloween Decor & Costume Contest!  October 27-28, 2016

 

Hello everyone! 

 The Cedar Grove Chamber is sponsoring its first Halloween Home and Business decorating contest.

Each year, we have noticed that the homes and businesses and the staff in those businesses are decorating more and more.  This year, we are going to offer a First, Second, and Third Prize for the best Outdoor Decoration and one Prize to the Business staff that dresses the best in Halloween Costumes.

 Awards will be given for:

• Best Overall Display
• Most Creative Theme
• People's Choice Award
• Best in Office Halloween Costumes - judged in the office of participants on October 28^th

Chamber Haunted Night Out!

Halloween house decorating competition for Cedar Grove are for residents only. Prizes will be awarded to Most Creative, People’s Choice, and Best Overall.

Register online here.  We need your name, street address and general contact information.  Houses will be judged on the Thursday before Halloween from 6:00 – 9:00 PM. Winners will be contacted online and by phone. 

• There will be four (4) prizes, and all the bragging rights that come along with it.  Your photos will be published and posted on Facebook.
• Decorations are to be outside the home but within your yard. 
• The theme and area should stand alone. 
• Staff Costumes will be judged in the office of those registered  On October Friday 28^th

Whether you’re hosting a haunted house or preparing for trick-or-treaters, we want to see you get spectacularly spooky with your décor this year!

And do it for a good cause…. A gift check in the amount of $100 is the prize and it will be good at ANY of our Chamber Member businesses.  So, if it is a product, a dinner out, we pick up the first $100.

For all of your Halloween DIY’s this is your chance to decorate and then get all of the bragging rights until 2017.

To Participate and include your home or business, here is what you need to do:

1. Go online and enter an application – Don’t be Ghoulish and miss out!   These should be entered no later than Wednesday October 26, 2016
2. More info will be circulated by E-mail from the Chamber
3. Be sure you are on the Chamber Facebook page for any updates
4. Your address will be added as registrations come in. 
5. Decorate your Home or Business
6. Wait for the judging team to come around

• Home Decorations - Thursday night before Halloween Oct 27 between 6:00 and 9:00 PM.
• Office Costume Contest – Friday before Halloween Oct 28 during business hours
