"Wellness Engagement Workshop"

You are invited to attend an educational workshop provided by the Lehigh Valley Business Coalition on Healthcare (LVBCH) and BeneFIT Corporate Wellness. This session is designed to help LVBCH employer members increase employee engagement in worksite wellness programs.

This interactive event will be facilitated by Certified and Master Certified Health Education Specialists from Valley Preferred’s BeneFIT Corporate Wellness team.

Come prepared to join the discussion!

• Help us create a mini-culture of wellness at the workshop; all attendees are invited to dress casually including your favorite sneakers!
• Case studies of common engagement pitfalls will be shared, but please be prepared to jump into the discussion with your own engagement questions and stories.
• Activities and tools customizable for your company’s unique wellness needs and interests!

The workshop will focus on:

• Defining engagement in your company’s wellness program
• Assessing cultural elements that contribute to overall engagement
• Simple steps to help your company get out or stay out of an engagement rut
• Tools to implement engaging wellness initiatives with measureable outcomes in the future

Carol Noel Michaels, MPH, MCHES
Director, Health Promotion and Wellness, BeneFIT^SM Corporate Wellness

Carol Noel Michaels is responsible for strategic planning and execution of Valley Preferred's BeneFIT^SM Corporate Wellness Program to promote healthier lifestyles for Valley Preferred business clients. She also leads and coordinates health and wellness initiatives for Lehigh Valley Health Network employees.  Ms. Michaels received her Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her bachelor's degree in Biology from Bucknell University. She is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES).

Kristin Behler, MPH, MCHES
Manager, Health Education and Wellness, BeneFIT^SM Corporate Wellness

Kristin Behler has direct oversight of the Health Education and Wellness Coach teams, including new growth within BeneFIT Corporate Wellness.  Ms. Behler received both her bachelor's and master's degrees in Public Health from East Stroudsburg University. She is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES).

Amanda Greene, BS, CHES
Certified Health Education Specialist, BeneFIT^SM Corporate Wellness

Amanda Greene designs, plans, implements and evaluates corporate wellness initiatives for Valley Preferred's BeneFIT^SM business clients.  Ms. Greene received her bachelor's degree in Community Health Education from the William Paterson University in New Jersey and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).

Sarah Engler, CHES
Certified Health Education Specialist, BeneFIT^SM Corporate Wellness  

Sarah Engler designs, plans, implements and evaluates corporate wellness initiatives for Valley Preferred's BeneFIT^SM business clients.  Ms. Engler received her bachelor's degree in Community Health Education from East Stroudsburg University. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
