In this webinar you will learn about Tagwhat and how it works as an effective mobile device with geo-referencing and interfaces to social media. You will also learn how to set up a Tagwhat account; develop "tags" or accessible descriptions of byway sites; and how the Delaware Byways Program manages Tagwhat.
About the Presenters:
Ann Gravatt is the Byways Program Coordinator for DelDOT. In this position, she manages the byways program for the State of Delaware coordinating planning activities for the byway community from the local to the national level, helping to procure funding for byway projects and studies, promoting, involving and educating the public about byways, and participating in steering and management committees for the state’s 6 byways. She brings 31 years of road design, utility relocation coordination and technical plan review experience to her position as Byways Coordinator.
Mike Hahn, AICP is the new Delaware Scenic and Historic Byways Coordinator within the DelDOT Division of Planning. Prior to his work transfer, Mike worked 25 years within Environmental Studies Office focusing on NEPA, Cultural Resources Compliance, and Project Development. He has co-managed and then fully managed the development of a stormwater and recreational park, which includes development of partnerships with the local historic society, the regional soccer club, the community, and a major athletic and fitness center. Specific project involvement in Delaware has also included Blue Ball Properties, Tyler McConnell Bridge, US 301 Project Development, US 113 North South, and the West Dover Connector. He has worked extensively with the Transportation Alternatives Program as well other recreational and commuter trails programs. In the past and currently, he has been tasked to formulate Memorandum of Agreements and continue his ties with many of the same colleagues that might be part of the Delaware Byways. He is also affiliated with the local Delaware Chapter of the American Planning Association assisting in newsletters, communications, workshops/seminars, and web information. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a Masters in Urban Affairs and Public Policy while also specializing in Planning and Historic Preservation.
