“The Link” between Human Violence and Animal Abuse Local Conference

National speaker, Phil Arkow will present a plan of action to help eliminate abuse in our community. This all day workshop (cost $20 includes breakfast & lunch) will explore part of complex interpersonal agressions and familial dysfunctions that often indicates and predicts domestic violence, child maltreatment and elder abuse, the "dark side" of the human-animal bond. Great learning & networking opportunity to improve conditions in our community.

Phil Arkow is the Coordinator, The National Link Coalition; Link Consultant for ASPCA and Animals & Society Insititute; Chair of Animal Abuse & Family Violence Prevention Project and The Latham Foundation
