Join Cris Sullivan for a workshop that provides practical strategies for evaluating your program. Attendees will learn how to provide funders with the information they need, while gathering information that helps to continually improve upon programming for survivors.
About the presenter
Dr. Cris M. Sullivan is Director of Michigan State University’s Research Consortium on Gender-Based Violence. She has been an advocate and researcher in the movement to end violence against women since 1982 and ran an advocacy program for over 20 years. She has been conducting evaluation workshops for domestic violence programs for over 15 years.

Who should register?
NYSCADV is offering this workshop to staff and volunteers of not-for-profit organizations whose primary mission is to provide services to victims of intimate partner domestic and sexual violence as well as their system partners (such as police agencies or district attorney's who receive funding such as VAWA or VOCA). NYSCADV also invites staff from NY state agencies who are responsible for providing funding to and monitoring oversight of the afore mentioned not-for-profits or system partners.

** Please note that NYSCADV will be offering this workshop one other time in the mid to late fall 2014 and will be held in the downstate region of New York State.
Information about the training location
Please note that no food or drink will be provided during this training. There are two restaurants in the building - Panera Bread and The Recovery Room - where you can get meals on your own. People are welcome to bring their own food as well.
There is a parking garage attached to the building but the Hilton Garden Inn Albany Medical Center has a parking lot beside that (off of Holland Avenue). The parking lot is free for the day and $10.00 for overnight parking. Please see the hotel's website for detailed directions.
