This workshop will share a set of lessons learned during the daily operations of a business. Spanning sales, operations, finance, HR and more, each scenario is presented in a problem-faced, lessons-learned format and each is no more than a few minutes long. The lessons that will be presented apply to businesses of all types.

Examples of challenges and lessons learned:

  • Financial: How to collect payments more quickly
  • Marketing: Generate sales by establishing your business as a trusted expert
  • Sales: The value of your existing customer base
  • Advertising: How to get free press
  • Manufacturing: The role of creativity in the manufacturing process

Our Speaker: Matt Krieger is a technologist and business executive with 20 years experience in IT and manufacturing. He is co-owner of Cober, Inc., and responsible for business development, sales and marketing. Previously, Matt held senior IT leadership positions at Time, Inc., and The Reader's Digest Association, Inc. Matt serves on the board of two non-profit organizations and is currently in the process of becoming a SCORE mentor.
