You have questions? It’s hard to keep up, in this time of rapid change. That’s why we’re here with answers.
In our Health Coverage Central workshop, we explain health care and coverage options your client population may be eligible for, including plans offered through the Affordable Care Act Marketplace.
- Review and discuss recent private insurance and MaineCare changes.
-Health Insurance Marketplace
-Tax credits/subsidies/cost sharing reductions to help with insurance costs
-MAGI based Medicaid or Marketplace eligibility
-And more! - Gain tips, techniques and referral sources for troubleshooting and resolving your clients' MaineCare, Marketplace or private insurance disputes.
- Participate in interactive activities to practice what you've learned throughout the day.
- Network with others doing similar work.
Attendance may be submitted for Social Worker Continuing Education Contact Hours! It is the responsibility of the social worker to submit needed paperwork and documentation to the Maine Board of Social Worker Licensure to secure these Contact Hours.
If you register but are then unable to attend this workshop, a refund of the registration fee may be possible in some cases. To be eligible for a full refund, registrants must contact Consumers for Affordable Health Care at least two weeks before the event to cancel. If registrants cancel less than two weeks before an event, but more than 24 hours in advance, a partial refund may be possible. Failure to cancel more than 24 hours in advance will result in no refund of the registration fee. We appreciate your help in alerting us in a timely manner if you are unable to attend, as the final number of registrants affects location selection, materials preparation, and other time consuming preparatory work.
