Six Billion Utopias: A collaborative performance about gender and mental health
This community-based performance was created from interviews in Oregon about the relationships between gender, mental health and the mental health system. This staged reading draws on the talent of New England performers and activists who have collaboratively adapted it to this community.
Please join us as we explore the common threads in these diverse stories, and begin an often-neglected dialogue about the ways these issues play out in our lives and the lives of those around us.
This performance was very well-received and generated some phenomenal discussion in Putney, VT last fall and in Burlington in early February; please plan to join the discussion when it comes to Portland, Maine, in connection with Justice in the Body!
