International trade is a large economic segment for the South Florida market. Gain greater knowledge of how to import/export your company products to ensure your business success.  

This workshop will help you gain better perspective on the mechanics involved in selling your products to overseas customers and bringing merchandise into the United States.  You will learn about the need for clear communication with your overseas customers or suppliers, and how to accomplish this.  This workshop will also help you evaluate the pros and cons of adding international trade to your present domestic offerings, including the increased demand on your resources, and will provide insight into how to manage import/export operations efficiently.

Presenter - Stephen Perret-Gentil

Since graduating in 1983 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration Stephen has dedicated himself to learning the business of international trade.  He was first employed at Tech Lines, a local ocean carrier, where he acquired experience in different areas of the company ranging from sales to traffic management, and from warehouse operations to export documentation.  This experience proved invaluable in the export purchasing service he started subsequently that grew into an export operation specializing in animal feed and pet products, with a branch handling special order auto parts.
