CIRCLES OF PRESENCE 1.1

Dear Circles Particpant,

We learned a great deal from our last Circles event and wanted to follow up our next iteration by focusing on going deeper into the Presence of God and taking time to dwell at the bottom of the U.

Facilitating this spiritual time for us will be Dr. Frank Rogers, Sr. Faculty at the Claremont School of Theology, and internationally known for his scholarship and work in spiritual formation.  In addition, Coke Tani will be providing our movement process and Mary Huycke will be providing major processing of the whole event.

The Circles 1.1 Workshop will run from 2 PM to 8:30 PM on Friday, Oct. 9th and 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Saturday, Oct. 10th. There is no fee for this workshop.

An optional event will be an InterPlay Daylong Introduction and Deepening Workshop led by Coke on Thursday, Oct. 8 from 10 AM to 5:00 PM. There will be a $15 fee per person for this event. Here's Coke Tani's description of the workshop:

At our last Circles gathering, several of the forms of InterPlay were introduced between our larger conversations. We've realized that this was neither incremental nor cohesive enough to optimally benefit from this system of embodied spiritual practice. In this upcoming daylong InterPlay workshop, we will gradually immerse ourselves in the greater breadth and depth of its forms, tools and principles, including movement, sound, story, stillness and connection. The aims of this workshop are twofold. First, to open-up our experiences of prayer, surrender and transformation. Second, to increase familiarity with, and understanding of InterPlay in order to best benefit from Friday and Saturday's Circles event.

All events will be held at the Terrace auditorium next to the PNW Conference Center. Lodging and meals are covered.
