Support Others by Supporting Us!

October is a big month for our Fundraising team!  We will be holding two very worthy events to support our missions in the community, our state, our country and our world!

We have pledged our support to:

• Covenant to Care for Youth program via the Department of Children & Family Services
• The United Church of Christ and their larger missions nationally and worldwide
• Monthly Soup Kitchen in Bristol
• Youth Group and Christian Education programs
• And support of many people in our community who are in times of need

To make this happen, we need to raise funds and WE NEED YOU!  We hope to see you at our events and if you are looking for a place of great Fellowship and Support, we invite you to join us for 10 am Sunday Service, Rev. Taylor is worth a listen!

Harwinton Fair Craft Table

When: Saturday, Oct. 5th - 8 am until 6 pm & Sunday, Oct. 6th - 8 am until 5 pm
Where: The Harwinton Fair Grounds off Route 4, Harwinton, CT

Visit us at our Craft Table where we will have an assortment of fine crafts that will include homemade items as well as many donated craft works.  You will not only see some fine Yankee ingenuity on display, but be able to help others in need by taking home an item you like.

Can, Bottle & Clothing Drive

When: Saturday, October 12th - 8:30 am until 12:00 pm
Where: Our Church Parking Lot

Once again, the Big Tex will be rolling as we do our quarterly Can & Bottle drive to help raise funds for our Church missions.  In addition, a Clothing Collection Drive will be happening.  Just drop off gently used (i.e. no holes or super worn out items) clothing, shoes, belts, purses, towels, sheets, tablecloths & More...check out our webpage for more details.
