The CHS Alberta Chapter has planned a whole day of learning for you. Join us at the University of Alberta in Lister Centre for a day packed with information, light breakfast, coffee, and lunch.  We have workshops that cover different topics so there is something for everyone.

Mild to Moderate Bleeding Disorders
Kathy Mulder a retired Physiotherapist from the Child Health Program and Winnipeg Bleeding Disorders Program will come and share her experience and knowledge on the challenges facing Mild to Moderate Bleeding Disorder patients.

Aging and Bleeding Disorders
Are you worried about Aging and your bleeding Disorder?
Dr. Bruce Ritchie will explore the different challenges in getting older with a bleeding disorder.

Women and Bleeding Disorders
(Carriers, von Willebrand's, and Rare Factor)
Our speaker will address issues that are unique to women with bleeding disorders and how to live a lifestyle to maintain health.

Parenting and Bleeding Disorders
Parenting a child with a bleeding disorder can present many challenges. Come, learn, and ask questions. Elia Fong Pediatric Physical Therapist at the Dr. John Akabutu Comprehensive Centre for Bleeding Disorders will address different issues for children with bleeding disorders. We will also have experienced moms Laura Young and Sheri Spady provide some parenting perspective.
