WING MEN

Stronger Together on Life’s Journey

A winter retreat for fathers, step-dads, or grandpas and sons to bond over faith, fellowship, and fun.

This special event will address some of life’s biggest questions like “Who are we?” and “Why are we here?” Through a series of group discussions, Bible lessons, and fun activities, dads and sons will work to build an action plan that helps them navigate some of the toughest challenges facing men today. 

Featuring Daniel Weiss of The Brushfires Foundation. 


Who: High-school and college-aged men and their dads, step-dads, grandpas, or another important man in their lives

When: February 10 – 11, 2017 (Friday @ 5:00 p.m. to Saturday @ 5:00 p.m.)

Where: Camp LuWiSoMo, W5421 Aspen Road, Wild Rose, WI 54984 

Cost: $69/person (includes 1 night lodging and 3 meals + all retreat materials)

 


Daniel Weiss 
 founded The Brushfires Foundation in 2012 to equip churches to offer a compelling Christian response to sexual brokenness. Daniel is a writer, speaker, and visionary dedicated to tackling tough questions about sexuality, relationships, and the human person with depth and compassion. He has spent more than a decade helping church and community leaders, educators, and policymakers address complex situations surrounding sexual brokenness with hope and life-giving truth. Free-time activities available to you at  Camp LuWiSoMo include snowshoeing, ice skating, broomball, and snow tubing.

Wing Men: Stronger Together on Life's  Journey  begins  at 5:00pm Friday, February 10, and lasts  until 5pm  Saturday, February 11.  Cost of the retreat is  $69.00  per person, and includes lodging, meals, campfire, retreat sessions and free-time activities.  Lodging will be in heated & air-conditioned 12-bed cabins (separate heated  toilet/shower house), or 4-bed dormitory-style retreat center rooms (shower & toilets down the hall).
