Supporting & celebrating the youth leaders of Community Bike Works

Community Bike Works offers life-changing opportunities for Allentown youth. Gearing Up for the Future will allow us to provide enhanced opportunities for our youth leaders, those who deepen their commitment to Community Bike Works as youth volunteers and apprentices.

  • In our Apprentice program, students earn their first paychecks as Earn a Bike instructors.
  • In our reimagined Youth Leadership program, students will participate in leadership seminars and develop an annual project designed to benefit Community Bike Works or the broader community.

Kyle came to Community Bike Works at 11. Now a 17-year-old Youth Apprentice, Kyle says: “I remember being a young kid here and looking up to the older kids. Now, I’m the one setting the example. Community Bike Works is more than learning how bikes work. It’s learning how life works."

Thank you for your support!
