Sexting, Pornography and our Digital World: How to Protect our Children from Today's Hyper-sexualized Pop Culture

Or Ami Center for Jewish Parenting invites the community to an important conversation with sociologist, author and activist Dr. Gail Dines, who will discuss how digital media, and the ease in which our children can access pornography, is negatively impacting our children. This important conversation will help educate parents on how to support healthy child and youth development in relationships and sexuality. Her research-driven information teaches parents to recognize and respond to the role media and on-line pornography can play in sexual violence, unhealthy relationships, internet and sex addictions, negative self-image, and adolescent depression. Join us to learn more about what your children are exposed to on their phones, computers and in the media, and leave empowered with information to protect, resist and heal the harm that can come from our digital world. Truly an important conversation.
