Self-Directed Forums for Families and Advocates (Future sessions are being developed) 

Jeff Keilson, a national leader in Self-Directed Services is hosting separate forums for families, and other forums for self-advocates.   Forums for families involve conversations about: what is happening in other states with Self-Directed Services, how to best support your family member with Self-Direct their Services, even though they may not communicate in a traditional way.  How can you ensure that the person receiving services is taking the lead in making their plan? How will this work with someone that may not communicate in a traditional way?  Join Self-Advocates for group discussions.  Please Note: While these sessions are currently full, there will be additional opportunities to attend additional forums!  Those who click on the links below will be notified about future sessions.

In addition, the Advocacy Supports Team is holding a two day Self-Directed Services forum for Self-Advocates currently self-directing their services. or for the Self-Advocates entering the DDA system or transferring into Self Directed Services from Traditional Services.
