Paverpol USA Spring Breakaway 

Join us for a wonderful creative retreat to celebrate our new Paverpol USA Training and Retail Center at Breakaway Arts Cafe in Hastings, MN. We will host seven classes and workshops over four days, for all skill levels from novice to instructor level. MAY 18-21, 2017

May18 & 19- CPI (Certified Paverpol Instructor) Class from 9 am til 5 pm - $395

May 20 & 21- CPI (Certified PaverpoI Instructor) Class from 9 am til 5 pm- $395

You may sign up for either of these classes. Fee includes instruction and all Paverpol products for the class. You should bring a clean cotton tshirt, scissors, a roll of aluminum foil, a brick, a 10 x 10 canvas of similar, a patterned cotton fabric and any embellishments you would like to try in your creations. You should complete at least five different projects. At the completion of the class, you will receive a Certificate of Completion.

 May 18- Intermediate Garden Statue Class from 9 am til 5 pm- $95

In this class, you will create an original design 18" or larger garden statue. We will provide the nontoxic art products, you bring a paver stone, a clean cotton tshirt, scissors, an apron, aluminum foil, and any embellishments you would like to include.

May 19- Experimenting with Paverpol from 9 am til Noon- $65

Enjoy three fabulous hours with A Professional Paverpol Trainer to help you experiment with Paverpol and other commonly used art materials. This is a great choice for the artists who have not added Paverpol to their tool boxes yet! You will experiment with painted glass eyes and fabric, primitive stonebeads and more. The start of a perfect friendship!

May 19- Sitting Garden Fairy or Creature Sculpture from 1 pm til 6 pm- $65

This is the perfect beginner's project! Get the feel of Paverpol! Using all non-toxic products to make a fairy of creature for your garden that is safe for you, your pets and the environment! Bring a rock ( about 4" x4"), a  clean cotton tshirt, and any embellishments you choose!

May 20- Mixed Media Canvas Class from 9 am til 5 pm- $105

You'll experiment with Paverpol and different additives to create an explosion of texture and color on three square 8" canvases. Bring old bits and pieces from home-- metal, glass, fabric, hardware, almost anything that will fit! Get ready to amaze yourself!

May 21- Wild Found Materials Art Doll Class from 9 am til 5 pm-  $95

Breakaway Arts Member Kate McEvoy will bring her Stone Crone out and lead you in making a mystical art doll with twigs, stones, paper and more. Bring your best finds and let Kate help you unleash their spirit!

Located in scenic Hastings, MN Breakaway Arts Cafe has become a premier location for art events. ABOUT THORWOOD

We have reserved a limited number of spaces in historic Thorwood R&R, right in Hastings. Built by a Lumber Baron as a private residence, it now serves as a retreat for travellers and artist retreats.
