Please join us for the 2016 Michigan Rural Health Conference April 21- April 22, 2016 at the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mt. Pleasant, MI.
At this year's conference, attendees will gain knowledge of timely and effective methods to enhance their organization. Whether it's concentrating on improving clinical quality, leadership, managing staff, or focusing on patient satisfaction, participants will have the opportunity to learn from subject matter experts, and rural health peers. The conference sessions will feature a variety of informative topics such as: Federal Update on Rural Health Issues, Managing Rural Population Health, Care Management and Care Coordination, Improving Access to Care Using Telemedicine, RHC Survey Process, Common Deficiencies, and several other enticing presentations.
Who Should Attend?
This conference is designed to be of interest to a wide range of rural health advocates including community leaders, administrators, board members, public health officials, physicians, physician assistants, nurse and nurse practitioners from hospitals, rural health clinics, federally qualified health centers, local health departments and others interested in the development of healthcare in their community.

Exhibit Area
The exhibit area offers participants the opportunity to meet a variety of vendors displaying health care industry products and services. Contintental breakfast and breaks will be held in the exhibit areas to facilitate easy conversation and a relaxed atmosphere for visiting with sponsors and friends.
Rural County Fair and Reception
Come one come all to the Rural County Fair! Celebrate with us and enjoy delectable fair foods, good old fashioned carnival games and show off your skills! We won't have wheelbarrow races or dunk tanks but we'll have plenty of fun. Exhibitors will volunteer to run the games and offer you the chance to win prizes. Admission is f ree! A cash bar, food, prizes, and laughs all while networking with friends from 5:15PM-6:30PM in the Black River Room on Thursday, April 21, 2016.

Nursing Continuing Education Contact Hours
We will be offering nursing continuing education at this conference. We are working on the exact number of hours to be approved for credits with the MSU College of Nursing. As soon as it is known it will be posted on the conference website. Criteria for successul completion includes sign-in at registration and the provision of an email address, verification of attendance at specific sessions and submission of a completed evaluation form.
Michigan State University College of Nursing (OH-294, 08/01/18) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91), an accerdited approved by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
Social Work Continuing Education Contact Hours
