Due to the great response from Oklahoma Teachers we are at our capacity for teams that we can accept. We are looking at ways to be able to add more teams for the 2016 MEE Competition. We are starting a wait list and will be contacting those in the order they registered if team spots become available.

Meaningful Economics & Entrepreneurship Competition

The MEE competition is a program designed to recognize student achievement in acquiring and applying knowledge in economics, entrepreneurship, and personal finance. The competition is sponsored by the Oklahoma Council on Economic Education with support from the University of Central Oklahoma and the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Oklahoma City Branch.

In addition to addressing the state standards in economics/social studies, the event works on many levels such as creative and critical problem solving and thinking, teamwork and collaboration, and communication skills.

Educator highlights include:

  •  No Student Prep Work Required

There are three main contests, all done by 4 member teams of third to fifth graders. Contests involve Team Assessment, Production and Problem Solving.
