OST Directors:  Continuous Quality Improvements (CQI)

Course Description:

Introduces participants to EEC’s Continuous Quality Improvement plan and provides knowledge about how it aligns to QRIS standards and measurement tools. Participants will practice setting goals and creating effective action steps. We will explore strategies for mentoring staff and involving the whole team in a culture of continuous quality improvement. This course is for OST Directors that oversee every day operations and programming.

 
Course Objectives:
1. Describe the cycle of Continuous Quality Improvement, Understand the new CQI Plan and how it aligns to QRIS standards and measurement tool
2. Apply strategies to create effective goal and corresponding action steps
3.Demonstrate understanding of strategies to monitor implementation and motivate staff
4. Explain components of reflective practice and how to model this for staff
5. Examine case studies and determine best practices 6. Craft a useful CQIP strand to plan and manage program quality improvement.
