Calling all River Lovers!

Please join Willamette Riverkeeper River Guardians on Trashy Tuesday, March 10, 2020 to float downstream from Alton Baker boat ramp to Valley River center to help clean up high water debris and garbage.

BYOB PLEASE MEET AT 8:00AM at the Alton Baker boat ramp to shuttle our vehicles to Valley River Center. Turning into Alton Baker Park on Day Island Road, drive past the main parking lots and follow the road to the boat ramp sign on the right. Please be unloaded in time to drive your rig to Valley River Center by 8:30AM to organize shuttles back to the put-in.

Non-boaters please park in the Valley River Center parking lot by 8:30AM to meet up and organize a shuttle to the put-in.

Please note: The morning "meet up spot" is in the Valley River Center parking area behind Regal Cinemas, near the brown shed and just off the bike path next to the river. This is the boat ramp access point.

All BYOB paddlers must be able to adequately paddle in Class 2 moving water. NO BOAT? NO WORRIES - your RSVP will reserve a seat in a raft or driftboat. Because we will be working from the water, PFDs are REQUIRED, and can be provided by Willamette Riverkeeper as indicated in the registration.

BRING snacks, water and appropriate layers for the weather. Closed-toe shoes REQUIRED for safety; long sleeves and pants preferred for protection against scrapes, scratches and poison oak. Gloves, pickers, garbage bags, tools, tarps will be provided.

Questions? Please contact organizer, Michelle Emmons at michelle@willametteriverkeeper.org or text 541-913-4318.
