Christian Life University - Fall 2014 

We are excited to offer a new session of Christian Life University this fall at FBC.  Choose the course that will best help you grow as a follower of Jesus Christ.  Below are brief descriptions of each course being offered.

Life & Ministry of the Messiah by Ray Vander Laan

Discover Jesus.  Journey back to the time of Jesus.  Marvel at the magnificence of Herod's palace.  Scramble among the ruins of Qumran.  And wonder at the simplicity and wisdom of Jesus' parables.  Discover how the events of Jesus' day impacted his life, ministry, and communication.  Then let them impact yours.  This is an 8-week course led by Pastor Steve Ellis.

The Way of the Master by Kirk Cameron & Ray Comfort

Seek and save the Lost the way Jesus did.  This course will teach you to overcome your fears by using a proven, powerfully effective way to make the gospel make sense to those you care about.  Learn to bypass the intellect (the place of argument) and speak directly to the conscience (the place of knowledge of right and wrong) - the way Jesus did.  This is an 8-week course led by Terry Bowman.

Calm My Anxious Heart:  A Woman's Guide To Finding Contentment by Linda Dillow

Even though we want to be content and trust God, we can still feel overwhelmed by worry.  Filled with encouragement and practical help for overcoming anxiety, this Bible study for women explains what God says about contentment and offers ways to apply it to daily life.  If you're tired of being held hostage to a million "what ifs," you will find this book to be great study and easily applicable to any woman!  This is a 9-week course for Women Only and is led by Bidgie Sue.
