AWWA Blue Mountain Subsection Fall Training 

You are invited to join us at the Colton Booster and Gun Club for the Blue Mountain Subsection's Third Annual Fall Training event on September 18, 2014.  This year the training will cover the basics on valve maintenance and repairs.  The training consist of three one-hour sections covering the proper operation, maintenance and basic repairs for hydrant valves, main line valves and backflow valve will be covered.  CEU's in both Washington and Idaho will be provided, but are pending approval . The cost for the training and lunch is $35.00.

If you attended this event in the past you surely remember the great lunch was served.  In fact it was so popular that the planning committee decided to go on with a good thing and the menu will be the same as last year including pulled pork sandwiches, side dishes including potato salad and coleslaw, chips, cookies  and beverages.   

 After lunch trap shooting will be available for those that want to give it a try.  Each participant will get their first round of trap-shooting (25 traps and shells) courtesy of the Blue Mountain Sub-Section and for those that just can't get enough, additional trap rounds will be available for $8.50. 

Door prizes donated by industry professionals  and the Blue Mountain Sub-Section will also be given out.  All that being the case the Blue Mountain Subsection hopes to see you at our on September 18, 2014.  This is a great opportunity to get some low cost training and to spend some time with other water works professionals from the area.
